Terms of Service

The agreement between you and [[ YOUR LEGAL NAME OR REGISTERED BUSINESS NAME ]] for use of InterviewGPT.

Last updated: 3 August 2026

1. Who we are

InterviewGPT is operated by [[ YOUR LEGAL NAME OR REGISTERED BUSINESS NAME ]], [[ YOUR BUSINESS ADDRESS, CITY, STATE, PIN, INDIA ]]. You can reach us at avinash.ranjan21@gmail.com. In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean [[ YOUR LEGAL NAME OR REGISTERED BUSINESS NAME ]]; "you" means the person using the service.

By creating an account or buying credits, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. What the service does

InterviewGPT simulates interviews for practice: job and HR interviews tailored to a role and experience level, visa interview rehearsals (such as US F-1, US B1/B2 and UK student credibility interviews), language-test speaking practice in the style of IELTS Speaking, and citizenship test and interview practice (such as Canada's). It collects your answers and returns an AI-generated score and written feedback. It is a practice and self-assessment tool — nothing more.

All interviews on InterviewGPT are conducted by an AI simulation — no interviewer persona is a real official, examiner or recruiter, and no session is part of any real visa application or official test. The one exception to "practice only": an employer or recruiter can run candidate screening interviews through the service (section 10), where your answers are shared with the person who invited you — the invite page tells you when this applies.

3. Important limits on AI feedback

Questions, scores and feedback are produced by an automated language model. They are generated text, not the judgement of a human interviewer, recruiter, consular officer, examiner or adviser.

  • Scores and feedback may be incomplete, inconsistent or simply wrong, and may vary between sessions for similar answers.
  • Nothing in the service is professional career, recruitment, legal, financial, educational or immigration advice. Visa and citizenship simulations are practice conversations — for advice about a real application, consult the relevant government's official guidance or a licensed professional.
  • We make no guarantee of any outcome — not a job offer, not a visa approval, not a test band or score, not a citizenship grant, and not a particular result in any real process.
  • Questions are illustrative practice material. They are not drawn from, and do not predict, any employer's, government's or test provider's actual questions or criteria. Simulated interviewers may state things about rules, policies or procedures that are out of date or incorrect — always verify against official sources.
  • Any language band or score estimate (for example an indicative IELTS-style speaking band) is a text-based approximation only. It is not an official result and cannot assess pronunciation.

Use your own judgement, and treat the output as practice material rather than assessment.

4. No affiliation with governments or test providers

InterviewGPT is an independent product. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to any government or public authority (including the US Department of State, UK Visas and Immigration, or Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada), or any university, employer or test provider. IELTS is jointly owned by the British Council, IDP and Cambridge English; all trademarks belong to their respective owners and are used only to describe what you can practise for.

5. Your account

Accounts are created through Google Sign-In. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping access to your Google account secure. You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent where you live, whichever is higher.

One person, one account. Creating additional accounts to obtain more free sessions is a breach of these terms.

6. Credits

  • New accounts receive one free 30-minute Live Interview. All interviews on the service are Live Interviews — real-time conversations bounded by the clock.
  • Additional sessions are bought as one-time credit packs. There is no subscription.
  • Credits are spent when a session starts, not when it finishes. A Live Interview costs 3, 4 or 5 credits for 30, 45 or 60 minutes respectively, as shown before you start.
  • Interviews are final: leaving ends the session. Questions you answered are evaluated and unanswered questions score 0. Sessions cannot be paused, resumed or restarted.
  • Purchased credits are valid for 365 days from the purchase that granted them. Your expiry date is shown on your dashboard.
  • Buying another pack extends your entire remaining balance to one year from that new purchase — you never track separate expiry dates. Credits that have already lapsed are not restored by a later purchase.
  • Credits are sold final-sale, have no cash value, and cannot be transferred, sold or moved between accounts.

7. Payment

Payments are processed by Dodo Payments, which acts as the merchant of record and is the seller for the transaction. Your purchase is also subject to their terms, and their name may appear on your card or bank statement.

Prices are shown in US dollars. Applicable sales tax, VAT or GST is determined and collected by Dodo Payments based on your billing location, and may be added at checkout. We never see or store your card details.

8. Refunds and validity

Credit packs are sold final-sale and carry one year of validity. This is set out in our Refund and Validity Policy, which forms part of these terms. Any statutory cancellation rights you have as a consumer apply in addition to it, and nothing here removes them.

9. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Resell, sublicense or commercially redistribute the service or its output.
  • Scrape, bulk-extract or systematically harvest generated questions or feedback, or use the service to build a competing dataset or product.
  • Use automated tools, scripts or bots to create accounts or start sessions, or otherwise attempt to obtain credits you have not paid for.
  • Attempt to bypass usage limits, probe or interfere with our security, or gain access to another user's account or data.
  • Submit unlawful content, another person's personal data, or confidential information you are not entitled to share, as an interview answer.

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms. Where the breach is deliberate abuse — such as farming free credits across multiple accounts — we may do so without refund.

10. Interviews you run for candidates

Paid accounts can configure an interview and share an invite link. Candidates who open the link take a live, monitored interview; each attempt deducts credits from the creator's balance when the candidate starts. If you create candidate interviews, you additionally agree that:

  • You will tell candidates, before they take the interview, that it is AI-conducted and monitored, and you will use it lawfully — including any consent, notice or anti-discrimination obligations that apply to hiring in your jurisdiction.
  • The candidate's answers, scores, AI feedback and integrity signals are delivered to you. You are responsible for how you store, share and act on them.
  • Integrity monitoring reports signals from the candidate's browser (leaving the tab, exiting full screen, stopping the screen share, extra displays, paste attempts). These signals are indicative, can be triggered accidentally, cannot detect everything (such as a second device), and are not proof of dishonesty. Treat them as input to human judgement, not as a verdict.
  • AI scores are practice-grade assessments, not a professional evaluation of a person. Do not use them as the sole basis for a hiring decision.

11. Your content and how it is processed

Your interview answers remain yours. To operate the service, you grant us a limited licence to store your answers and transmit them to our AI provider (Google, via the Gemini API) for the sole purpose of generating your score and feedback, and to display your session history back to you.

We do not sell your answers, and we do not use them to train AI models. Session data is stored under access rules that make it readable only by your account.

12. Our content

The site, its design, code and branding belong to us. These terms grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service; they do not transfer ownership of anything.

13. Availability

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not promise uninterrupted availability, and we may change, suspend or discontinue features at any time. We depend on third-party providers, and their outages will affect us.

If we permanently discontinue the service, we will make a reasonable effort to give notice and to refund credits bought but not used.

14. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim connected with the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost opportunities, lost earnings, or any outcome of a real interview or hiring decision.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited — including for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence. If you deal with us as a consumer, your mandatory statutory rights are unaffected.

15. Ending your use

You may stop using the service and request deletion of your account at any time by emailing us. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms or if we are required to by law.

16. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service develops. The "last updated" date above will change. For material changes affecting your rights, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.

17. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of [[ YOUR CITY, STATE ]] have exclusive jurisdiction — except where consumer protection law in your country of residence gives you the right to bring proceedings locally.
